Geo-specific rates

In this section, we'll go through how to use geo-specific prices to improve the success of your online advertising. This option may be set up under the Publisher / SSP zone preferences and is available for campaign pricing as well as publisher income.

It enables you to establish various prices for traffic originating from other countries. As a result, this functionality could be useful if you deal with international traffic and run campaigns with various payments for each country.

How to set up geo-specific rates

Users of our solution have a number of options to accomplish this relatively simple task of setting up various pricing for different countries. Clicking the button next to the rate box will allow you to manually configure geo-specific rates.

Additionally, in the Settings / Common / Network option, you can set preset revenue rates. These rates will then be immediately applied to your new zones. To update your existing zones, you must modify the rates manually.

We recommend you use CSV file import as opposed to doing it manually if you need to set up rates for a huge number of countries.

Requirements for a CSV-file

  • First column: ISO2 country code
  • Second column: A rate appears in the second column.
  • Header line in the file.
  • As a column separator, use a comma.
  • Use a point to separate decimals.

Example:

EE,0.12
UK,0.17
US,0.44
